BAY MINETTE – Annie L. Knowles, 98, of Bay Minette died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010 in Bay Minette.

She was a homemaker, born in Canoe on Sept. 3, 1912 to the late Charlie and Lillian Ballard Lee.

Her husband, Clarence Knowles; grandson, Tony Fleming and four sisters, Flora Entrekin, Leola Bethea, Myrtle Robinson and Charlie L. Lee, preceded her in death.

Survivors include, one daughter, Ann Goins; two granddaughters, Kathy Dye and Wendy Henderson; three great grandsons, Joe Dye, Brent Powell and Kane Powell and three great-great grandchildren, Tommy Dye, Lorali Powell and Marrisa Cummings, all of Bay Minette.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010 from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. J.P. Lambert officiating. Interment will follow in Canoe Freewill Cemetery.

Active pallbearers are Charles Entrekin, Hurbert Johnson, Wayne Robinson, Chris Henderson, Brent Powell and Joe Dye. Honorary pallbearer will be Kane Powell.

Family will receive friends from noon until service time on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Knowles Family.
