Edward Jones Investments has moved into a new home. The business has been relocated to 109 N. Main St., just a few buildings down from where they were.

Kelly Daniels, financial advisor with Edward Jones, said that the time had come to make the move into bigger quarters.

“We didn’t have enough room in the old place and the location along the railroad tracks was less than ideal,” Daniels said. “Sometimes the desks would shake so badly when the trains came through, that the computers would shut down. We didn’t have nearly enough space either.”

Daniels said the move has been a long time coming.

“When I first came to Atmore a year and a half ago, I knew that we would be wanting to make some changes, but I wanted to wait until I felt secure with my clients and with my fellow co-workers, Concettia Nall and Georgia Brooks,” she said. “That time has come and we are just so happy with the move.”

Daniels said that the changes reflect her personality and now she will have enough space to do her training sessions in addition to the regular work of insurance, annuities, stocks, bonds and CDs.

“We started looking for a new place about February,” Daniels said. “We also wanted to take the time and do a complete remodel while we were at it. We have new flooring, new paint on the walls and it will be the perfect place to work. I used to think that being a woman in this industry would be at a disadvantage, but it certainly has not proven to be the case. In fact, it has helped with this remodel. This new office is fabulous and reflects who I am and is just a perfect place to work. I came here from Dangerfield, Texas, where I also had a perfect office situation.”

The office is now open at 109 N. Main St. in Atmore. There is parking in the front as well as in the rear.
