WALNUT HILL, Fla. – Lola Griffin Beasley, 82, of Walnut Hill, Fla. died at her residence on Friday, Jan. 28, 2011.

She was a beautician for 40 years and a member the Walnut Hill Baptist Church, born in Daytona, Fla. on March 24, 1928 to the late Oswell F. and Zeffie L. Williams Driggers.

Her first husband, Herman Griffin; one brother and one sister, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband Irvin Beasley of Walnut Hill, Fla.; a son, Frank Griffin and wife, Myra, of Newberry, Fla.; one daughter, Linda Timmons of Palm Coast, Fla.; a stepson, Joseph Beasley of Stockbridge, Ga.; a stepdaughter, Judy Hall of Walnut Hill, Fla.; one brother, Cohen Driggers of Orange Park, Fla.; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011 from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ted Bridges and Bro. James Boyd officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at Palatka, Fla. on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011.

Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday evening, Jan. 31, 2011 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Walnut Hill Baptist Church Building Fund.
