Lucille Crutchfield McCormack

ATMORE – Lucille Crutchfield McCormack, 91, went to rest in the arms of her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011.
Although we grieve her absence, we rejoice with her in her promotion, sitting at the feet of Jesus beholding His face!
Her home-going celebration will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011 at the First Assembly of God Church in Atmore with the Rev. Don Davis and the Rev. Jerry Allen officiating.
Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Atmore.
Mrs. McCormack was born Nov. 23, 1919 in Conecuh County to the late Steven B. and Renee` Beale Crutchfield and lived most of her life in Atmore. She was a member of Atmore First Assembly of God. She was a very loving and generous person who touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Her husband, George W. McCormack; daughter, Mildred McCormack; five sisters and three brothers, preceded her in death.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory two daughters, Shelby Jean Allen (Jerry) and Evelyn Poole (Chuck); two grandsons Mark A. Allen (Stephanie) of Austin, Texas and John M. Allen (Angela) of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a sister, Voncile Ryals; two step-grandsons Andrew Poole of Atlanta, Ga. and Robert Poole of Wichita Falls, Texas; several nieces and nephews; many friends and her church family.
The family wishes to give special thanks for the devoted service provided by the mother’s caregivers for the past 12 months and to Asera Care Hospice nurses for their care.
Family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011 at the First Assembly of God Church.
