Elder Stanley Earl Felder Sr.

ATMORE – Elder Stanley Earl Felder Sr., 45, of Atmore transitioned into eternal rest on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at a Birmingham hospital.

He was a native of Atmore and a 1983 graduate of Escambia County High School. He has been a member of the Harris Street AOH Church of God and the New Beginning Holiness Church. He was a certified welder and pipe fitter.

His mother, Elmira Felder and a brother, Gary Felder, preceded him in death.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Sharon Felder of Atmore; one daughter, Jessica Felder of Livingston; one son, Stanley E. Felder Jr. of Atmore; his father, Clinton Felder Sr. of Atmore; five brothers, Bennie (Helen) Rudolph of Camden, Clinton (Lillie) Felder Jr., Rodrick (Veronica) Felder and Clayton (Rease) Felder, all of Atmore and Deangelo Stotts of Queens, N.Y. and four sisters, Linda (Rev. Humphrey) Shuford of Atmore, Brenda Wint of Martinsburg, W. Va., Hilda York of Mobile and Elvira (Vincent) Cunningham of Birmingham.

Funeral services were held at noon on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the Gaines Chapel AME Church with the Rev. Humphrey Shuford, pastor of the Zion Star AME Zion Church, and the Rev. Joseph Williams, host pastor, officiating. Inhumation was in the Fairview Cemetery with Turner Funeral Chapel, LLC of Atmore directing.
