MAGNOLIA SPRINGS – John Robert Harrison, 61, of Magnolia Springs died Monday, April 11, 2011 at his residence.

He was a truck driver, born  in Mobile on Feb. 10, 1950 to Robert and Bernice Hesse Harrison.

His father, Robert Harrison; a son Blue Harrison and a daughter, Tara Harrison, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Becky S. Harrison, of Magnolia Springs; a daughter, Troy

Harrison Johnson, and husband, Brian, of Fairhope; his mother, Bernice H. Harrison, of Atmore; two brothers, Bill Harrison, of Baker, Fla. and Ken Harrison of Summerdale; one sister, Susan Harrison Bowen, of Atmore and six grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2011 presented by the Rev. Gordon Milsted of St. Roberts Bellarmine Catholic Church in Atmore. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be Ray Long, Randy Elmore, Byron Harrison, Doug Harrison, Robert Harrison and Blake Bowen.

Family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Thursday April 14, 2011 at Johnson Quimby Funeral Home.
