ATMORE – Ms. Ethel Marie Arnold, 55, of Atmore transitioned into eternal rest on Monday, April 18, 2011 at her residence.

She was a native of Atmore and a graduate of Escambia County Training School. She was a member of Jones Street Holiness Church where Bishop Willie Williams was her pastor. She was a beautician and a dietician.

Her mother and father and a son, Jeffery Arnold, preceded her in death.

Those left to cherish her memories are five sisters, Hattie Edward J. Curry, Earnestine Arnold and Mary Arnold, all of Atmore, Celestine Arnold of Mutley, N.J. and Annie Moore of Gastonia, N.C. and one brother, the Rev. L.C. Arnold of Atmore.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Jones Street Holiness Church with Bishop Willie Williams officiating and pastor. Inhumation will be held in the Mt. Shiloh Cemetery in Nokomis.

Public viewing will be held from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, April 22, 2011 at the Turner Funeral Chapel, LLC. Her body will lie instate at the church one hour prior to funeral services with Turner Funeral Chapel, LLC directing.
