ROCKY HILL – Barbara Graves “Jackie” Jay, 66, of Rocky Hill died Monday, May 9, 2011 at her residence.

She was a native of Brewton and had resided in Rocky Hill most of her life. She was a member of the Rocky Hill Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Her daughter, Tina Jay Morace, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Stinson Jay of Rocky Hill; three sons, Vince Earl (Carmen) Jay, Malcom “Buster” (Sherry) Jay and John Jay, all of Rocky Hill; one daughter, Vivian (Troy) Hahn of Rocky Hill; one brother, Johnnie Ray Graves of Rocky Hill; three half brothers, Tommy Kennedy, Tony Kennedy and Melvin Kennedy, all of Brewton; one sister, Melba Joyce Lambeth of East Brewton; two half sisters, Janice Martin of Brewton and Gail Hogue of Washington; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today, May 11, 2011 at the Rocky Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Pete Dunn and the Rev. Jesse Bohannon officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Rocky Hill Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements. Visitation was held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on May 10, 2011 at Johnson Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
