LOXLEY – Mary Louise Gibson, 86, of Loxley died Sunday, May 8, 2011 at her residence.
She was a retired school bus driver with the Baldwin County School System, born in Monroe County on Nov. 26, 1924 to the late Pearlie Huston and Mary Elizabeth Jernigan Turberville.
Survivors include, one son, Ronald Eugene Lucas and wife, Eva, of Mobile; two daughters, Mary Ann Vaughn and husband, Jerrel, of Loxley and Gloria Jene Lucas of Robertsdale; three brothers, William Turberville of Dublin, Ga. and Clinton Turberville and Cecil Turberville, both of Mobile; two sisters, Margaret Lingerfelt of Pensacola, Fla. and Helen Williams of Robertsdale; nine grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 from the Springhill Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Ellis and the Rev. Bobby Willis officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Primitive Baptist Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Michael Roley, Adam Blackmon, Johnny Lucas, Randy Lucas, Earl Simpson and Nicholas Blackmon.
Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Springhill Primitive Baptist Church.
