A concert featuring K-Ci & JoJo will begin at 9 p.m. tonight in the Amphitheater with two top performers expected in the coming months.

“Powerhouse Martina McBride will be at our Amphitheater July 16,” Young said. “Tickets are already on sale in the Essential Gift Shoppe and online at This should be a wonderful concert for fans of Martina.”

Ticket prices for McBride’s performance are $35 each. The concert is set to begin at 9 p.m. on the evening of the show.

McBride is a four-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year winner, a Grammy winning recording artist and a three-time winner of the ACM Female Vocalist of the Year award.

“She is best known for her fiery, passionate vocals,” Young said. “ She has one of the most spectacular voices in any genre of music. Some of her signature hits include ‘Independence Day,’ ‘Wild Angels,’ ‘A Broken Wing,’ and ‘Concrete Angels’ and a long list of other hits.”

McBride has more than 18 million in album sales with 24 of her singles topping the charts — six at the number one position.

McBride has stated in a recent press release that she believes her career is continuing to grow, even with an already years-long career behind her.

“What’s exciting for me is I still feel like my career is growing,” McBride said. “It’s crazy, but I know from the Internet and things like that there are still people discovering my music and hearing me for the first time. It might be a new song that gets their interest. I might be singing at a football game that makes them aware of who I am or they might hear an old song on the radio. Whatever it may be, people are still discovering my music. We’re still making new fans that are coming out to see our shows that have never seen us before.”
