ATMORE – Mr. Gregory “Jabbo” Deramus, 50, of Atmore died Friday, July 15, 2011 at his residence.

He was a native of Atmore and had worked at Brown and Rut Shipyard.

Survivors include one brother, Harry Deramus of Atmore and a host of cousins and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 21, at the Elizabeth Holiness Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Abner, Pastor officiating. His body will be cremated with Turner Funeral Chapel, LLC directing.
