“We haven’t been told anything about the applicants at all,” Hall said earlier this week.

Jefferson Davis Community College is a two-year institution with campuses in Brewton and Atmore with the Brewton location being considered the main campus. Instructional sites are also housed at Holman and Fountain Correctional Centers in the Atmore area. Officials with the Alabama State Board of Education’s legal and human resources department could not comment on applications already received for the position this week. However, a list of applicants will be available in the near future as the hiring process for the position continues.
