A Bay Minette man was killed in a single vehicle accident on Tuesday afternoon on I-65 seven miles southwest of Atmore.

Alabama State Troopers responded to the accident at approximately 4:45 p.m. where they found 21-year-old Kevin Wayne Vickery trapped inside his vehicle.

It is reported that Vickery was traveling in his 2001 Dodge Stratus when it left the roadway and overturned. Vickery was not wearing his seat belt, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers with the Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
