Madeline Ann “Wester” Biggs

PENSACOLA, Fla. – Madeline Ann “Wester” Biggs, 67 of Pensacola, Fla. went to be with her Lord on Aug. 29, 2011 at the Joyce Goldenberg Hospice Residence, with her family at her side. She was born October 29, 1943 to the late Charlie D. and Madeline A. Wester. She was their only child. Was a member of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church in Pensacola. Madeline majored in Music in College, which was her passion. In her younger years, she sang in church, for the local Military even local Television Shows. She especially loved singing for her Lord. Her dream and goal in this life was to glorify her God. Her Family proves that she accomplished this goal.

She is survived by her husband Charles W. Biggs, son, Richard W. Biggs and wife, (Bobbi); grandchildren, Brianna Ruth Biggs, (daughter of Ricky & Becky Biggs), Patricia Pope, Heather Pope, Rebecca “Perry” Albert, Matthew Perry and Ethan Perry and  one great-granddaughter, Preslei Ann Albert.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday September 2, 2011 from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ron Lentine and Pastor Ron Pouliott officiating. Interment followed in Lottie United Methodist Church Cemetery Pallbearers will be Deacons of Lottie United Methodist Church, Lottie or Myrtle Grove Baptist Church; Pensacola, Fla. Family received friends at 9:30 a.m. Friday September 2, 2011 from 9:30AM until Service time. The Family would like to thank Covenant Hospice for their Care and Support. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations are made to Covenant Hospice, or The Diabetes Association Foundation.
