Leadership Atmore class chosen for 2011-12

Each year in the Atmore community the fall season brings plenty of fresh starts and new beginnings. A new school year gets under way, a new football season kicks off and every year since 1993 a new Leadership Atmore class is chosen.

This year is no different. As kids swarm the halls of local schools and area rivals face off on the gridiron the Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce has been hard at work selecting an elite group for this year’s class, chosen from Atmore men and women displaying the potential to become leaders in the community.

–       Alex Alvarez, cultural educator, Poarch Band of Creek Indians.

–       Crystal Daughtry, executive administrative assistant, PCI Gaming.

–       Billy Harrison, service technician, Pepsi Cola Bottling Co.

–       Brenda Helton, administrative assistant, Creek Indian Enterprises.

–       Kathy Holland, personal banker, First national bank & Trust.

–       Irvin Martin, We Care Program.

–       Audrey Moon, agent, State Farm Insurance.

–       Kellie Ridgeway, vice president and branch manager, United Bank.
