The Escambia County Sheriff’s Department is still in need of information as to the whereabouts of a Brewton man missing since Tuesday.

Rufus David Blair, 77, white male of 253 Cooper Cemetery Rd., was reported missing by members of his family after they were unable to locate him Tuesday morning.

According to a press release from the Escambia County Sheriff’s Department, Blair is believed to have left his residence sometime after midnight and had not returned to his home or made contact with any family members as of late Wednesday afternoon.

Blair is believed to have left his residence in a 2003 white Buick Lasabre bearing license plate number 30A97H2. His direction of travel is unknown.

Any one who has information on the whereabouts of Blair or any one who comes in contact with him is asked to call 911 immediately.
