The Northview Chiefs go on the road for a third straight week heading to Santa Rosa Beach, Fla. to take on the South Walton Seahawks.

The Chiefs (1-1, 0-0) will go into this week’s match up looking to bounce back from their first loss of the season falling to to Chipley 34-27 last Friday.

The Seahawks (0-3, 0-0) are still in search of their first win after falling to Freeport 39-13 last Friday in Freeport.

The Seahawks previous games include a 38-0 loss to the Baker Gators and a 32-6 loss to the Vernon Yellow Jackets.

After last week’s close loss to Chipley, the Chiefs will look to play with more consistency on defense, Chiefs head coach Sid Wheatley said after last week’s loss.

“We didn’t play well defensively,” he said. “We played well at times, but other times they just had big plays. We gave up too many big runs. We need to play more consistent on that side of the ball if we want to compete.”

The Chiefs and the Seahawks kick off at 7 p.m. on Friday night at South Walton High School.
