Interstate accident leaves one injured

A single-vehicle accident left one person injured Tuesday night.

A single-car accident on Interstate 65 left a Mobile man injured Tuesday around 10:15 p.m. after his pick-up truck left the road and collided with several trees.

Loyd Bratton Rainey III, 48, sustained injuries after his 2010 Ford F-250 apparently lost control and crashed into the top portion of several pine trees along an inclined portion of the roadway near the 52 mile marker.

Alabama State Trooper Todd Hanks is investigating the accident.
