ECHS students and teachers celebrate flash back day during homecoming week.

Escambia County High School students and teachers are taking the dress code a little more lightly this week.

Beginning on Monday, the first of  homecoming week’s five themed school days, students were allowed to show off their favorite pajamas. The fun continued Tuesday with costume day, and Wednesday gave the kids a chance to pull out some of mom and dad’s old duds during flash back day.

Other events planned for the week include:

  • A bon fire/community pep rally Thursday night at 7 p.m.
  • A tour of the ECHS campus Friday from 9:30 a.m. until 10 a.m.
  • The annual Alumni Tea Friday from 10 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
  • The annual homecoming parade Friday at 2 p.m.
  • ECHS versus Monroe County Friday night at 7 p.m.
  • The annual homecoming dance Saturday night from 8 p.m. until midnight.

ECHS students return to the age of afros Wednesday during homecoming week.
