Three suspects were taken into custody Wednesday afternoon by Escambia County Sheriff’s deputies after a traffic stop on Highway 21 near Fountain Correctional Facility uncovered materials related to the manufacturing of methamphetamines.

Sheriff’s deputies on the scene said the stop occurred after one of the passengers in the vehicle was inexplicably “dropped off” on the side of the highway near the prison.
