Two Baptist Health Care organizations – Atmore Community Hospital and the Andrews Institute for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine – have recently partnered to provide increasingly better and more conveniently accessible orthopedic care for residents of Atmore and surrounding communities.
Thursday, area residents are invited to tour Andrews Institute Rehabilitation at Atmore
Community Hospital and meet the experienced team of physical, occupational and speech therapists. This special after-hours event will be co-hosted by the Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce, and will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Refreshments will be provided.
Athletes, recreation enthusiasts and everyday people can receive care at Andrews Institute Rehabilitation at Atmore Community Hospital. A multi-specialty spectrum of services provides patients quick and accurate care for a range of orthopedic needs, including orthopedic and neurological conditions, work and sports injuries, arthritis and industrial medicine.
Brittany Martin, DPT director of rehabilitation at ACH said the new institute will bring a lot to the hospital.
“Our team is very excited to now have the resources and support of the Andrews Institute’s internationally renowned performance training and orthopedic health care programs,” Martin said. “This partnership will improve quality of life for Atmore
area patients who need and deserve the best in orthopedic care.”
