ROBERTSDALE – Helen M. Sasser Hooper passed away Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012. She was a native of Atmore and a resident of Robertsdale.

She retired from Monsanto after 34 years of employment.

She is survived by three sons, Charles E. Chavis, of Elberta, Kim A. Chavis, of Seminole and Steven C. Chavis, of Mars Hill, Maine; two daughters, Tami H. Buzbee, of Pensacola, Fla. and Cynthia S. Wilson, of Elberta; three brothers, Donald R. Sasser, of Pensacola, Fla., Kenneth Sasser, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and Bill Sasser, of Charlotte, N.C.; one sister, Elizabeth Kingsley, of Kansas City, Mo. and 60 great and grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 11 a.m. from the Klondike Baptist Church in Pensacola, Fla. In lieu of flowers the family and there mother Mrs. Hooper request that donation be made to the Klondike Baptist Church, Pensacola, Fla.
