Members of the faculty of Perdido Elementary/Middle School, under the direction of Reading Coach Kerry Roley, presented “Alice in ARMT Land” for students as a motivational tool prior to their taking the Alabama Reading and Math Test.

The play included many of the characters from the book and movie, “Alice in Wonderland,” and followed Alice as she journeys through a school year, preparing to do her best on the ARMT.

After the play, those students who scored a three or a four on last yea’s ARMT were recognized for their outstanding achievement.   Every student was given a playing card with a positive reminder and a stretchy bracelet to wear as an incentive to do their best.
