PENSACOLA, Fla.– Earnest Lee Thomas, 87, died Saturday, April 7, 2012, at West Florida Hospital. Thomas was born in Stockton but was a long time resident of Atmore and Freemanville.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and one son.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 14 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Davis, pastor, officiating.

He is survived by: his wife, Alma Thomas; two daughters, Anette Haston of Spanish Fort and Earnestine Foutain of Cantonment; two sons, Floyd Thomas and John Alex Thomas; one sister, Rosie Mae Johnson of Pensacola; one bother, Charlie Lee Thomas.

Inhumation will be in the Pierce Rabb Cemetery. Public viewing was held Friday, April 13, 2012 from 1 until 8:30 p.m. at Turner Funeral Chapel. His body will lie instate one hour prior to the service, with Turner Funeral Chapel, LLC. directing.
