Perdido track teams runners-up

The boys track team at Perdido Middle School finished as the runner-up in Baldwin County at the Baldwin County Track Championship.

The Perdido Middle School boys and girls track teams capped off successful seasons recently finishing asĀ  the runners-up in Baldwin County.

At the Baldwin County Track Championship, the teams led by Mike Ebert and Will Sellers found a high amount of success at the meet with several first-place finishers in the featured events.

Students with first-place indvidual county championships were Billy Powell (Long Jump and Mile run), Andy Jordan (Shotput), Derrick Pittman (800m run), Dusty Baggett (400m dash) and Ashlyn Overstreet (Discus, Shotput).

Those with second-place finishes included Kiannan Pintarelli (Shotput, Discus), Baggett (200m dash, 100m dash), girls 4Xrelay team,

Morgan Tuberville (400m dash) Courtney Duddy (Shotput) and Bridgette Terry (200m dash).

Third-place awards went to Powell (Triple Jump), boys 4X4 relay team, boys and girls 4X100 relay team, Ashley Presley (1,600m run) and Terry (100m dash, 400m dash).

Those coming in fourth-place at the meet included Hunter Smith (Discus, Shotput), Presley (800m run), Duddy (Discus) and Jessie Shiver (Long Jump).

Fifth and sixth-place finishes included Pittman (sixth in Long Jump and Triple Jump), Dalton Lister (sixth in the 100m and 200m dashes), Tuberville (sixth in the 800m run) and Micah Murphy (fifth in 1,600m run and sixth in 200m and 100m dashes).

The girls rack team at Perdido Middle School finished as the runner-up in Baldwin County at the Baldwin County Track Championship.
