Mary Alice Finney

Mother Mary Alice Finney has passed away. She was born February 2, 1928 to the late Clarence Sr. and Rachel America Lymon in Wilcox County, Ala. She accepted Christ at an early age. During her childhood she attended Camden Academy where she met the love of her life, Lee Finny Sr. They were married February 8, 1947.

After moving to Atmore she united with AOH Church and later with First Pentecostal Holiness Church where she labored until her health failed.

She is survived by: her husband, Lee Finney Sr.; three daughters, Rebecca (Austin) Thompson, Patricia (Frank) Burks, both of Atmore, and Rachelle Garrett of College Park, Ga.; four sons, Charles Finney, Glenn (Sharon) Finney, both of Akron, Oh., Lee Finney, of Atmore, and Michael (Bertha) Finney of Montgomery; God son David Taylor, of Atmore; two sisters, Clara Rudolph, of Detroit, Delois (Ellis), of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one brother, Bishop Albert (Thelma) Lymon, both of Detroit; three sisters-in-law, Bernice Robinson, of Los Angeles, Sadie (Ezell) Smith, Nettie P. Finney and Elnora (Otha) Everage, all of Akron; three brothers-in-law, Alexander Finney, Paul (Susie) Finney and Roy (Barbara) Finney, all of Akron; 34 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren; special friends Sister Ann McIntrye, Sis Orie Kyles and Minister Ilena Barnes; many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
