Mrs. Elizabeth Ann “Lizzy” Boutwell, 58 died Thursday, June 7, 2012 in Atmore. She was a native and resident of Atmore, the daughter of William Jefferson and Ester Ardis Salter, Jr.

She was retired from Vanity Fair Mills as a seamstress and was preceded in death by two sisters, Lottie Caraway and Dorothy Caraway.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Floyd Boutwell Jr. of Atmore; two sons, John (Amanda) Salter of Atmore, and Joseph (Autumn) Boutwell III of Bay Minette; a daughter, Emily Boutwell and Jeffery Richardson of Atmore; three brothers, Charles Salter, William J. (Angie) Salter Jr., and Dwayne (Linda) Salter, all of Atmore; three sisters,  Dottie (James) Harrelson, Mary Jane (Pete) Caraway and Shirley (Larry) White, all of Atmore; three grandchildren, Kara Tuberville, KeOnna Richardson and Joseph Boutwell IV.

Funeral services were held Tuesday June 12, at 10 a.m. from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Sister Helen Fretwell officiating and Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home directing.
