GECA to present ‘Cheaper by the Dozen’

It is almost time again for a the debut of a new production from Atmore’s Greater Escambia Council on the Arts (GECA) and this month the theater group has chosen to present “Cheaper By the Dozen.”

GECA will begin performances of the show Friday night at their location on Trammell Street and will show encore performances Saturday and Sunday, July 28 and 29 and Friday, Saturday and  Sunday, Aug. 3-5.

The GECA cast will also be bringing something new to the production of ‘Cheaper’ as they will use two casts, dubbed the red cast and blue cast, to perform the show.

Tickets are on sale now and may be purchased from cast members, online at or at the Atmore News office located on Main Street.

Performances will be held Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.

News and show times of upcoming performances will be made available as they are released by GECA officials.
