We shouldn’t need a law threatening us with a fine, but we’re glad that as of today texting while driving is outlawed.
A fine is the least of a driver’s problems when it comes to texting behind the wheel. You could total your car. You could hurt or kill a passenger or another driver. You could kill yourself.
According to some studies, the danger of distracted driving is just as bad as drinking and driving.
Plain and simple: Don’t text and drive. Doing so is not just dangerous, it could be deadly.
