ATMORE – Joseph Marshall Hall, 81 of Atmore passed away Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012 in Bay Minette.
He was a retired Mechanic with Teledyne, born in Escambia County, Ala. on Aug. 18, 1930 to the late Joseph Marion and Bertha Mae Neal Hall. He was of the Baptist faith.
His wife, Doris Hall; two sisters, Willie Mae Jenkins and Mabel Marshall preceded him in death.
Survivors include two sons; Colvin (Faye) Murph of Bay Minette and Rodney Hall of Atmore; daughters, Rita (Larry) Whatley of Atmore, Sarah (Mike) Ward of Mobile, Shirley Diane (Johnny) Rushing of Pensacola, Fla., Bettye (Ken) Hodges of Pensacola, Fla., Nancy (D.C.) Roach of Davisville, Fla., Carolyn Dees of Loxley and Becky (James) Hollaway of Odessa, Texas and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be today, Aug. 18, 2012 at 11 a.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Keith Johnson and the Rev. Johnny Rushing officiating. Interment will follow in McCullough Cemetery. Family will receive friends today, Aug. 18, 2012 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home one hour prior to service time.
Active pallbearers are Poarch Fire Dept., Chief Ronnie Jackson, Michael Wood, Christopher Lee, Kevin Baggett, Chris Cain and Grandson Michael Ward. Honorary pallbearers are Hilton Hall, Hilbert Hall, Mike Ward, Jack Hall and Willie Frank Hall.
