MCDONOUGH , Ga. – Ms. Marva Lee Russell, 64, of McDonough, Ga., formerly of Atmore, transitioned into eternal rest on Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012 at VITAS Hospice Center in Stockbridge, Ga.

She was a native of Georgiana, had lived in Atmore most of her life, attended school in Escambia County and was a homemaker.

Those left to mourn her passing are her sons, daughters, sisters, brothers and a host of grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today, Sept. 22, 2012 at Holy Community Center with Bishop Jimmie C. Wilson, pastor, officiating. Retirement of her remains will be held in Stallworth Cemetery.

Turner Funeral Chapel, LLC of Atmore will be directing.
