Officials with Atmore Community Hospital announced Monday that its Urgent Care clinic is extending its weekend hours.

The clinic, which serves as an alternative to the ACH Emergency Room for non-life threatening injuries and illnesses, will now add hours of operation on Sundays to their weekly schedule.

With the addition of Sunday hours, Urgent Care at ACH MedPlus is now available seven days a week to care for minor illnesses and injuries. The clinic’s new hours are: Monday through Friday, from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m.; Saturdays, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.; and Sundays, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

ACHS MedPlus officials said the addition will give Atmore residents an alternative source of medical care throughout the week

Wait times are much shorter than at the ER and our experienced, compassionate team is available extended hours to care for you and your family.”

Urgent Care at ACH MedPlus is located at 406 Medical Park Drive, directly across from the ACH emergency room.
