ECHS enjoying homecoming week

ECHS’ 2012 homecoming court is: Le’Dera Riley, Jazmine McGinnis, Tiffany McReynolds, Tarnitisha Wiggins, Haliey Rose Clark, Tristen Boothe, Carmesha Crenshaw, Christin Simpkins, Kaylee Cox, Jessica Sanspress and Jocelyn McCall.

Escambia County High School students are in the middle of homecoming week, enjoying activities leading up to the ECHS Blue Devils’ match up Friday with the Monroe County Tigers.

The Escambia County High SGA would like graduated classes that ended with “2” to join Escambia County High School on Friday, Oct. 12 at 9:30 a.m. for a tour of the updated campus, followed by the Alumni Tea at 10 a.m. in the ECHS media center where there will be refreshments. Alumni are encouraged to stay for the Homecoming Pep Rally, which will be held after the Alumni Tea.

Later that day at 2 p.m. there will be a Homecoming Parade. The parade route is from the Atmore YMCA to Escambia County High.
The Homecoming Court will be introduced at halftime.

The members of the Senior Court include: Le’Dera Chantel Riley, daughter of Donna Phillips and Bobby Riley; Jazmine Ajetta McGinnis, daughter of Ann McGinnis and Charles McGinnis; Tiffany Samone McReynolds, daughter of Mechelle and Larry Forney; Kadiedre Marshae Tarnitisha Wiggins, daughter of Linda Wiggins and James Lee; Haliey Rose Clark, daughter of the late Debra Brooks and the granddaughter Lillie Brooks.

The members of the Junior Court include: Tristen Ashley Boothe, daughter of Amy D. Jackson and Danial Boothe; Carmesha Danielle Crenshaw, daughter of Christy Caraway and Danny Crenshaw.

The members of the Sophomore Court include: Christin Ashleigh Simpkins, daughter of Shirley and Rodrick Simpkins; Kaylee Diane Cox, daughter of Theresa Rutherford and Donnie Cox.

The members of the Freshman Court include: Jessica Lauren Sanspree, daughter Paula and Sandy Sanspree; Jocelyn Celeste McCall, daughter of Catrina and Alfonzia Williams.

The ECHS Homecoming Queen will be crowned following the introduction of each member of the court. A dance will occur for ECHS students in the gymnasium on Friday, Oct. 12 from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m.
