HUXFORD – Vora Dreadin Croley, 98, a lifelong residence of Huxford passed away Thursday Nov. 15, 2012, at her residence.

She was a homemaker, born on Nov. 20, 1913, to the late George and Era Black Dreadin and was member of Huxford Community of Christ since early childhood.

Her husband, Jesse Croley and a son, Dehyrl Croley preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Jesse Elbert (Janice) Croley; one daughter, Carolyn (Dick) Mason, both of Huxford; eight grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren and her wonderful nurses and caregiver for Covenant Hospice.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Glenn Waldrop and Seventy Wayne Ellis officiating. Interment followed in the Huxford Community of Christ Cemetery. Family received friends one hour prior to service time on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at Johnson – Quimby Funeral Home.

Active Pallbearers were the grandsons.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Huxford Community of Christ Church or Covenant Hospice of Brewton.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc was in charge of all arrangements.
