Escambia Academy’s Lacie Flowers fights for the ball with a Crenshaw player Friday night during the Lady Cougars’ win.

The Escambia Academy Lady Cougars overcame poor shooting in the first half to beat Crenshaw 50-15 Friday night.

Coach David Walker praised his team’s defense, but would’ve liked to have seen better shooting.

“We didn’t play well,” Walker said. “We had good defense, but had a horrible night shooting the ball. We’re a much better scoring team.”
Walker added that the team made too many unforced errors.
