PCI: Terrorist threat made

Published 7:55 pm Tuesday, February 19, 2013

The four men arrested last week at Wind Creek Wetumpka were charged with trespassing, but one of the men, Wayland Gray, found himself with the additional charge of making a terrorist threat after he allegedly threatened to burn down the casino where he and his group were attempting to hold a prayer service.

Monday, Gray was still in the Elmore County Jail on $30,000 bail, according to the group “Free Wayland Gray.”

Gray maintains that he did not threaten to burn down the casino and has asked that PCI release a copy of a video made of the arrest that he says would exonerate him. PCI has not yet released the footage.
