Atmore woman jailed in Pensacola

An Atmore woman who found herself in the midst of a dispute in Pensacola last week ended up in the Escambia County (Fla.) Jail facing trespassing charges after she allegedly refused to leave private property.

Lakesha Patrece Bivins, 33, of 1925 Freeman Drive, was taken into custody by Escambia County Sheriff’s Deputy Robert Pollock Friday morning after he responded to a dispute she was involved in at a home on Gulf Beach Highway.

According to the arrest report, Bivins was asked repeatedly to leave the premises, but stated that the owner had brought her there from Atmore and because of that, she would not leave.

Bivins was arrested and charged with trespassing. She was later released from the Escambia County Jail on $500 bond.
