BAY MINETTE – Mrs. Shirley Yvonne Peacock, 72, a resident of the Pine Grove community of Bay Minette died Monday, March 25, 2013, at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope.

She was an elevator operator (retired) with Merchants National Bank and a homemaker.

Her husband, Charles Wesley Peacock; brother, Louie Lee Hadley; sisters, Era Lee McQueen, Geneva Smith, Pauline Hadley; and her parents, Walter and Minnie Lee Fretwell Hadley preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons, Hubert (Darlene) Harville of Rabun, Bobby (Angie) Walker of  Vancleave, Miss.; two daughters, Toni (Greg) Roberts of  Bay Minette and  Sherri (Mike) Bethea of  Gateswood; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brother, Syluce Lee Hadley of  Houston; two sisters, Lelia Mosley of  Lottie and Eunice Stewart of Rabun.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, March 30, 2013, at the Fretwell Tabernacle Church with Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Bryars-McGill Cemetery in Pedido. The family received friends from 6   until 9 p.m Friday, March 29, 2013, at Norris Funeral Home and today, March 30, 2013, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Fretwell Tabernacle Church
Active pallbearers are Greg Roberts, Ray Roberts, Kevin Boyington, Brandon Walker, Jimbo McMillan and Jake Bethea. Honorary pallbearer is Jerry Hall.
