ATMORE – Mrs. Gayle Delois Summerlin, 70, of Atmore passed away March 29, 2013 in Atmore.

She was born March 10, 1943 in Huxford.

Her parents Clifford and Bessie Mae Beasley Lane; her husband Glendal Summerlin and 8 brothers preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children Allen Etheridge and Cynthia Thompson both of Atmore;  brother Jack Lane of Milton, Fla.; two sisters Shirley (Ray) Conway of Pensacola, Fla. and Joyce Davis of Fayetteville, N. C. and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Stacey and the Rev. Jake Bondurant officiating. Burial followed in Serenity Gardens. Visitation was held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, April  from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel.
