MOBILE – Gloyce P. Rabon, 84, of Mobile, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013, in Mobile.
She was a Homemaker, born on July 16, 1928, in Coosa County to the late Virgil Morris and Myrtle Barnett Perry.
Her grandsons, Joseph Michael Rabon and Anthony Lee Rabon preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, John Douglas Rabon of Mobile; two sons, Joe Darryl (Edy) Rabon Sr. of Long Beach, Calif. and George Douglas Rabon of Gulf Shores; one daughter, Devita Rabon (Daryl) Day of Excel; grandchildren, Kimberly Dean (Justin) Myers, Joe Darryl (Bridgett) Rabon Jr., Amy (Seth) Goldman, George Wesley Rabon, Christopher Randall Kinsey, and John Michael Bell; great grandchildren, Heaven Rabon, Madelaine Myers, Cohen Myers, Abby Rabon, Aiden Douglas Rabon, Jody Goldman, and Kylie Goldman.; a niece, Rita Rabon Bell; and nephew Bill Rabon Jr.
Graveside Services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2013, in Oak Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. Justin Myers officiating. Interment followed in Oak Hill Cemetery in Atmore. Family received friendsfrom 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2013 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were Bill Rabon, Marty Gartman, Daryl Day and Wesley Rabon.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc was in charge of all arrangements.
