The Northview Chiefs cross country team was rained out of action on Tuesday in Pace, but placed second in a meet last week in Brewton.

The Chiefs faced the Tigers of T.R. Miller and the Flomaton Hurricanes. The Tigers took first in both the girls’ and boys’ races with Northview as runners up in both on “a challenging course with hills and turns,” said coach Natalie Nall.

The fastest Northview girl was Moriah McGahan, while the fastest boy was Brandon Korinchak.

The Chiefs host a meet Tuesday, Oct. 10.
