Wind Creek Casino & Hotel’s Fire Steakhouse will be recognized for serving “Alabama’s best steak,” during a ceremony scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.

The Alabama Cattlemen’s Association and its officers will be at the restaurant on Tuesday, to officially present it with the 2013 “Alabama’s Best Steak” award, according to a press release. The ceremony will be held at 4 p.m.

“We are exceptionally pleased to have been voted the winner of this year’s ‘Alabama’s Best Steak’ award,” said Fire Steakhouse chef Jesse Bell.

The Fire Steakhouse, located inside Wind Creek Casino and Hotel, is the first steakhouse in Alabama to be decorated as a four-diamond steakhouse.

“We are honored to have been nominated for ‘Alabama’s Best Steak’ award two years in a row, and we are thrilled to be this year’s winner,” said Arthur Mothershed, Wind Creek Casino and Hotel property manager.
