Shelbie Jean Cox, 57, of Chickasaw, passed away Monday Dec. 2, 2013, in Mobile.

She was a homemaker, born in Escambia County, on Nov. 4, 1956.

Survivors are her mother, Grace Rackard; two sons, Dock McKinley Phillips Jr. and Jacky Lee Phillips; two daughters, Lisa Jean Cox and Jenny Marie Cox; one brother, Daniel Lee Hunter; one sister, Linda Banks; five grandchildren, Allie J. Phillips, Della L. Phillips, Nathan M. Phillips, Timothy Montgomery III and Jamyara Fairly; and many other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, from Johnson-Quimby

Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Leo Kent officiating. Interment will follow in Little Rock Church Cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
