‘Sons of American Legion’ now accepting members

The American Legion Post 90 in Atmore has is now accepting new members for its chapter of the “Sons of the American Legion” (SAL).
The SAL organization is for men who are sons, grandsons and great-grandsons of veterans, who wish to join the American Legion, even though they have not served in the military.
The SAL sponsors many youth activities, and also assists the American Legion with its many programs and charities, both locally and nationally.
Blair Miles will be serving as the commander of the local SAL chapter.
“Come be a part of one of the nation’s largest military service organizations and show your pride for this great nation, and support for our brave heroes in uniform,” Miles said.
