The Atmore Area YMCA has a gift idea for all aspiring photographers. The YMCA is offering two photography classes, beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014. There are “a limited” number of seats remaining.

The instructor for both classes is Mandie Thompson, of “Photos by Mandie.” Enroll first in the Basic Photography class, which meets Tuesday, Jan. 7, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for four consecutive Tuesdays. Then follow on to the “advanced class,” which begins Tuesday, Feb. 6, and will meet for six consecutive weeks.

There is a one-time fee of $20 for each class. All proceeds will be donated to the YMCA’s “summer day camp” program. Contact the YMCA at (251) 368-9622 to sign up.
