Annie L. Smith, 90, of Molino, Fla., passed away on Friday, Jan. 10, 2014.

Annie was a member of Highland Baptist Church for more than 60 years, where she was a member of WMU. She worked in the cafeteria at Molino High School and was a babysitter for many years. Annie loved working with the Molino Homemaker’s Club.

Those who preceded her in death include her parents, Reuben Robert and Bessie Lee Manning; her loving husband of 62 years, Houston L. Smith; and 12 siblings.

She is survived by her sister, Bessie Mae Brooks of Pensacola, Fla.; brother, Albert (Sarah) Manning of Montgomery; sister-in-law, Nell (Glenn) Smith of Cantonment, Fla.; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at Highland Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bryan Calhoun officiating. Interment followed at Highland Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation was held from noon until the 2 p.m. service time Monday, Jan. 13, at Highland Baptist Church.

Faith Chapel Funeral Home North, of Cantonment, Fla., was in charge of arrangements.
