Atmore Cal Ripken baseball registration is still underway, but the deadline to sign up is coming up quickly.

Registration is Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., as well as Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Murray Johnson Insurance Office, located at 105 E. Louisville Ave. This office is next to Nancy’s Etc., and directly across the railroad from First National Bank & Trust.

The league will have T-ball (ages 4-6), pitching machine (ages 7-8), minor league (ages 9-10) and major league (ages 11-12) divisions.

The registration fee is $50. The player will be provided with a shirt, hat and socks.

Registration must be complete by March 8, at which point teams will be organized. Practice begins March 10, and games will begin April 5.
