Construction is currently underway on the first Habitat for Humanity home in Flomaton.

The home is being built on 80 Holt Street in Flomaton by Escambia County Habitat for Humanity, in partnership with the Rebecca Mollenbrink family. Habitat is calling for volunteers to come help raise the walls on this new home on Saturday, April 12 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Construction volunteers must be 16 years of age or older. No previous construction experience is necessary, although skilled volunteers are especially valuable.
