An Atmore man was charged Saturday night with first degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, after he was found in possession of 14.07 ounces of pot.

Marcus Dewayne Bayne, 23, whose address is listed as 472 Sunset Drive, in Atmore, was arrested after Detective Scott Walden of the Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on Sunset Drive.

Officials said they expect weapons charges will also be filed against Bayne.
