Sheriff’s Office arrests for May 24, 2014, through May 30, 2014

The following are arrest reports for the week of May 24-30, 2014.
Escambia County Sheriff’s Office deputies received 222 complaints; served 109 civil papers; made 36 transports, four domestic escorts and six funeral escorts; and responded to 15 domestic calls.
Arrested were:
• Shannon Edwards Jr. 19, of Brewton, for possession of a controlled substance.
• Quentin R. Hands, 37, of Atmore, for failure to appear.
• Lester T. Knight, 31, of Atmore, for violation of probation.
• William K. Lovett, 35, of Brewton, for domestic violence III and cruelty to animals.
• Dekenerick D. Butler, 29, of Castleberry, on a bench warrant.
• James L. Johnson, 30, of Milton, Fla., for failure to appear.
• Wanda McGhee, 46, of Atmore, for possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Jolien C. Loomis, 30, for possession of drug paraphernalia and three counts of possession of a controlled substance.
• Charles B. Nelson, 31, of Brewton, for domestic violence III (reckless endangerment) and attempted arson I.
